Welcome to Bank of the Rockies On-Line! We are the oldest bank in Montana and take pride in our tradition of service. We are, and will remain, a locally owned and managed bank who believes in providing personalized service to our customers. Personalized service means convenient locations, local decision making, and banking products that are based on the needs of our customers.

Our main office is in White Sulphur Springs. We enjoy a rock solid reputation as a top rated community bank with a friendly small town approach to helping with all of your financial needs. Corporate Philosophy

We believe an organization built on a foundation of integrity, consistency, dedication and respect for the client, the members of the organization and the public in general has to prevail. Bank of the Rockies shall be managed at the highest levels of legal, ethical, and moral conduct.

We believe Bank of the Rockies can best serve its clients, employees, community and stockholders by being a consistently profitable enterprise while continuing to expand its targeted market area. Profitability and return on stockholders equity will continue to be the banks driving force.

We believe that the success of the organization is dependent upon the quality of management and the performance of its staff. Bank of the Rockies shall utilize a professional management system based upon leadership, developing people, building a formalized sales culture, organizing and controlling.

We believe that we can increase the overall efficiency of the bank by continually emphasizing the necessary of "working smarter" and developing a program called "CIA", or caught in the act, whereby, we reward employees for implementation of new efficiencies.

Bank of the Rockies will continue to be the progressive premier provider of financial services in our market area. Our organization will focus on fulfilling the financial needs of the markets we serve and may include a wider range of service-oriented products than we presently provide, with some of those possibly being internet banking, financial planning, and cash management products for our business customers.

We will continue to distinguish ourselves from our competition by our commitment to excellence in the markets we serve. It continues to be critical to our success that we remain identified as a "Community Bank", and become professional sales people.

Through necessity, we will operate more efficiently than we do today, using technology and other alternative methods to meet the needs of our customers. WE continue to believe that Bank of the Rockies will establish long-term relationships by continually responding to the ever-changing customer requirements.

In order to remain competitive and profitable, we will identify the niches that provide the best opportunity for return in the markets we serve, and concentrate on becoming marketing oriented. We believe that Bank of the Rockies shall continue to deliver banking services that support and benefit our customers. We will continue to evaluate and refine our products and services and provide sales and marketing training to the Bank staff in order to meet the financial needs of our customers.

In order to meet these challenges, we will encourage an ever efficient team environment that brings new thoughts to help drive performance. Over the next five years, our bank will have a participatory management environment that will challenge our leaders to be innovative and to assume responsibility. Our mission is a commitment to excellence. An emphasis is placed on sales and service cultures to enable employees to exceed customer expectations. This is accomplished by providing employees with sales and marketing training, educational opportunities and technological advances, as well as a comfortable and secure working environment. In addition, the bank has implemented a formalized customer service staff-training program.

The bank will strive to achieve strong, consistent earnings, and maintain superior financial strength. The key to our success is controlling overhead, maximizing net-interest income and non-interest income, and maintaining a strong focus on asset quality consistent with stable growth.
